Corporate Communication and Public Relations. A University / Profession Approach Project in Catalonia, in the Context of Integration into the European Higher Education Area

Abstract

This article describes a very unusual experience related to the history of university-company in Spain, unlike what has been happening in the Anglo-Saxon world, living off the backs with one another. In this case, we refer an experience, undertaken in Catalonia: a proposed approach to the Catalan Faculties of Communication and Business Schools from one of the groups most representative of the Commission in that region: Association of Communication Managers Asociación de Directivos de Comunicación-ADC Dircom Cataluña, the delegation of territorial national professional body established in 1992, hosting nearly 600 directors of communication of the most important of Spain, and those most responsible for major consulting firms and communication agencies.
