Intranet for Knowledge Management and Internal Communication
Abstract
Because we live in a world where the greatest flow of information is on the Internet, the intranet is a tool of utmost importance for companies and organizations. The intranet is important because it helps to gather information about the company and its culture, facilitates work, helps overcome barriers of space and time, etc. But also, it involves certain disadvantages such as impersonality, informality, information overload, etc. All this, advantages and disadvantages, are a challenge for the communicator, since it forces him to rethink his strategies and ways of working.
