¿Desorden de visibilidad? Un análisis comparativo entre las menciones en la prensa tradicional y la difusión digital
Abstract
What is the relationship between the visibility of social and political actors in the journalistic press and social media? The objective is to understand if there is an association between the visibility of political actors in the press and on Facebook or, on the other hand, if fan-pages that attract a large volume of audience on this platform do not have insertion in the news companies. The article debates with the theoretical discussion about access of sources to journalistic reporting and the propagation of content on social media. The study applies the methodology of descriptive statistics and correlation tests to compare actors most shared on Facebook and those most cited by Folha de São Paulo newspaper. The results point to low association between the indexes and lists of different actors with high visibility. We discuss the results proposing the concept of visibility disruption and demonstrating how actors with no citations in the press are shared in digital environments.
