Análise da produção científica sobre a educação stem na Teia da Ciência

Resumo

A educação STEM (ciência, tecnologia, engenharia e matemática) está a tornar-se cada vez mais essencial devido à evolução e progresso tecnológico, porque a sua integração na sala de aula permite preparar indivíduos preparados para enfrentar os desafios da quarta revolução industrial e as contínuas variações do mercado de trabalho actual. O objectivo do manuscrito é analisar a tendência da produção científica sobre educação STEM a nível global na base de dados científicos da Web of Science, utilizando indicadores bibliométricos. A investigação é qualitativa, descritiva, transversal, utilizando uma abordagem bibliométrica para analisar as tendências de publicação. Os resultados apresentam indicadores de impacto, produção, visibilidade e colaboração. Identificando uma taxa de produção crescente entre 2009 e 2021, sendo os Estados Unidos o país mais produtivo, a maioria das publicações estão no primeiro e segundo quartil, as palavras-chave predominantes são "STEM Education", "Science", "Education", "Students", "Mathematic".
