Aproximación a la construcción interdisciplinar de un nuevo paradigma: comunicación, cambio climático y crisis

Resumen

El abordaje de la relación comunicación-cambio climático, así como los aspectos derivados de la traslación del consenso científico sobre el calentamiento global y su naturaleza antropogénica a los medios, obliga a determinadas cautelas por parte de la investigación académica. La gravedad y el alcance del objeto de estudio requieren de ciertos ajustes que hagan del trabajo algo más que un ejercicio de rutina escolar y lo conviertan en un esfuerzo de colaboración interdisciplinar. Esto es, en una herramienta de utilidad propositiva y de contribución a las acciones de la ciencia destinadas a paliar los efectos del cambio climático y corregir las causas que lo originan. Se plantea, asimismo, como hipótesis teórica, la incapacidad de los medios, como expresión de un sistema en crisis, para explicar lo que sucede y la necesidad de construir un nuevo paradigma como paso previo al contrato social de sostenibilidad.
