Resumen

El trabajo presenta una propuesta teórico-metodológica con base en seis encuadres noticiosos para el análisis del tratamiento informativo hacia primeras damas. Se concluye que los medios están en una disyuntiva entre abordarlas tradicionalmente en su papel de mujer o a través de su figura política.

Edrei Álvarez-Monsiváis

Cursa el Doctorado en Estudios Humanísticos en el Tecnológico de Monterrey, campus Monterrey (ITESM). Es maestro en Estudios Humanísticos (2016) y Licenciado en Periodismo y Medios de Información (2014) por la misma institución. Además, cuenta con estudios en el Máster en Estudios Interdisciplinares de Género de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). Sus trabajos están relacionados en el campo de la comunicación política, principalmente en el tratamiento informativo hacia mujeres políticas.
