¿Desorden de visibilidad? Un análisis comparativo entre las menciones en la prensa tradicional y la difusión digital
Resumen
¿Cuál es la relación entre la visibilidad de los actores sociales y políticos en la prensa periodística y los medios sociales? El objetivo es entender si existe una asociación entre la visibilidad de los actores políticos en la prensa y en Facebook o, por el contrario, si las fan-pages que atraen un gran volumen de audiencia en esta plataforma no tienen inserción en las empresas periodísticas. El artículo debate con la discusión teórica sobre el acceso de las fuentes a la información periodística y la propagación de contenidos en los medios sociales. El estudio aplica la metodología de la estadística descriptiva y las pruebas de correlación para comparar los actores más compartidos en Facebook y los más citados por el diario Folha de São Paulo. Los resultados señalan una baja asociación entre los índices y las listas de diferentes actores con alta visibilidad. Discutimos los resultados proponiendo el concepto de desorden de visibilidad y demostrando cómo los actores sin citas en la prensa son compartidos en entornos digitales.
