Abstract

This article discusses the demystification of the hero figure, in other words, the new characterization of comic icons, controversial to the collective imagination that has consolidated over the years. Therefore, we have as a problematic: how the character's figure was constructed and, afterwards, rebuilt? How does the reader receive this new version? In order to problematize the above, we intend to analyze the construction of the figure of a hero, to compare the previous conceptions and contemporary of heroism in order that, finally, notes are made about the imaging demystification of the comicâ€™s hero from the cartoons of Grégoire Guillemin (The secret life of the superheroes) and of Donald Soffritti (The superheroes decadence).
